Skin Care Level 1 Certificate

Prerequisite: Grade 12 or instructor approval

Course Outline:
Through lecture and demonstration, the students advance their knowledge of the structure of the skin, classification of the skin types and skin disorders. Students study product formulation and determine product choices based on in-depth skin analysis. In addition, the student will learn skills and techniques applicable to the esthetic profession.

Equipment required by student: 2 face towels, tweezers, eyebrow brush, disinfectant for hands, small bowl, paper tissues, Q-tips and head bands. Kits are all available.

Students become employable upon completion of this course. Students receive a certification stating a pass of the course and a competency level of his/her evaluation of the course.

Course Length: 4 weeks
